Today we perused the SCOPE magazine for the first ten minutes of class, or we worked quietly on homework for tonight. Afterwards, we corrected Easy Grammar page 26 and then we passed out new reading logs and storyboards. We had about ten minutes of classtime to silently read chapters 8 and 9 in Charlotte Doyle.

Today we completed our storyboards for chapters 1-4 that we started yesterday in class. The artwork is really good, you guys! The assignment includes dividing a sheet of printer paper into fourths, finding a good passage or direct quote, printing that very neatly on the edge of one quadrant, and illustrating the passage.

Today, we completed a fun drama activity and followed with reading aloud from the new core literature book, True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle. The first three chapters are to be read by tomorrow, for a quick comprehension quiz, consisting of three questions.
